Meet the Doctors

Dr. Bussa completed his undergraduate education at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he graduated with honors in neuroscience. He attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry to complete his dental education and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Following dental school, he completed a residency at the University of Minnesota, where he gained invaluable experience in advanced general dentistry.

In addition to his education, Dr. Bussa stays up to date on the latest in the dental industry through extensive continuing education, including a postgraduate program in esthetic dentistry and professional memberships with the American Dental Association®, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Minnesota Dental Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Dr. Bussa has earned a surgical fellowship from the Great Lakes Implant Institute, where he has completed extensive coursework and training in implant dentistry. He has also earned his surgical fellowship from ICOI and teaches fellow doctors implant dentistry through Implant Pathway.

Dr. Bussa is passionate about dentistry and taking care of his patients. He is so excited to meet you and provide the best care for you. Most importantly, he is fully dedicated to providing the highest level of
patient care and service.

When not practicing dentistry, you can find Dr. Bussa spending his free time with his family and friends and enjoying the great outdoors. He loves to travel and enjoy all that Minnesota has to offer, including boating, skiing, biking and hiking.

Dr. Connie Bao has practiced dentistry for 10 years and has treated many patients during this time, gaining experience with patients of all ages and dental needs. Dr. Bao completed her Bachelor of Science from The University of Wisconsin, Madison. She then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she earned her D.D.S. (Doctorate of Dental Surgery). Following dental school, Dr. Bao has been practicing dentistry in a private practice setting and has gained advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, emergency dental procedures, oral surgery, implant dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canals), and prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, dentures).

Since moving to Minneapolis in 2008, Dr. Bao has expanded her skills and provided care to thousands of patients. She thoroughly enjoys private practice, interacting with her patients, getting to know every patient, and meeting their dental needs. She stays up to date on the latest dental techniques by taking continuing education courses in all areas of dentistry.

When Dr. Bao is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors. She enjoys hiking and exploring all that MN and the Great Lakes have to offer. She is an outdoor enthusiast and would love to hear about new places to explore and visit.
